HIST 5790 - History of Sea Power Examination the role of navies and maritime strategy in war, diplomacy, and the world economy from ancient times to the present. The focus is on the development of the British and American sea power: doctrine and operations; the impact of politics, culture, geography, finance, and technology; and the future of sea power.
