Program Overview: Programs in the field of Higher Education and Student Affairs focus on administration and teaching at the collegiate level. In administration, the higher education program focuses on preparing individuals for leadership positions in various functional areas within higher education and student affairs. Required coursework examines the background of higher education and student affairs, the study of internal organizational standards, policy perspectives, and the principles of finance and governance. In college teaching, the program assists students in examining pedagogy and curriculum development on the collegiate level.
