ENG 251 - English Literature to 1688 Credit Hours: 5
ENG 252 - English Literature 1689-Present Credit Hours: 5
ENG 253 - Survey of American Literature Credit Hours: 5
ENG 254 - Research and Writing in English Studies Credit Hours: 4

Two of the following seven (but no more than one from 301,302, 303)*:

ENG 301 - Shakespeare: The Histories Credit Hours: 4
ENG 302 - Shakespeare: The Comedies Credit Hours: 4
ENG 303 - Shakespeare: The Tragedies Credit Hours: 4
ENG 311 - English Literature to 1500 Credit Hours: 4
ENG 312 - English Literature: 1500-1660 Credit Hours: 4
ENG 313 - English Literature: 1660-1800 Credit Hours: 4
ENG 321 - American Literature to 1865 Credit Hours: 4
*Additional courses from 301,302,303 may be taken as electives

One of the following:
