Construction Management Certificate Program

The Department of Civil Engineering Construction Management certificate requires a minimum of 30 hours of coursework. The certificate program is open to civil engineering students and students not in civil engineering. Upon completion of the CM certificate course requirements and graduation, students are awarded a certificate in Construction Management. Notation of the award is recorded on the student’s transcript, and a physical certificate that indicates completion of the CEM certificate program will be issued by the Department of Civil Engineering. Consult the director of the Certificate program before the deadline for graduation to ensure that the certificate will be awarded. Approved coursework for the certificate includes core courses, business, economics, and organizational aspects courses. The courses are listed below:
