VICO 3400 - Illustration I: Digital Imaging

Advanced class introducing the computer as a tool for digital creation of images to produce visual communication imagery.

Requisites: C or better in VICO 1021 or 1421
Credit Hours: 3
Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 lecture
Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I
Learning Outcomes:
  • Students will be able to articulate their reasoning behind artistic choices.
  • Students will be able to apply appropriate software tools to achieve specific communication solutions
  • Students will be able to color correct images appropriately for publication.
  • Students will be able to apply appropriate Image Compositing techniques
