DANC 4211 - Modern Dance Technique VIII Continuation of 4210. Employment of technical skill to address the more subtle demands of performance focus, projection, expressivity, and dynamic range.
Requisites: DANC 4210 Credit Hours: 2 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 4.5 studio Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Demonstrate professional level performance skills and artistry as a result of practicing and mastering the movement material presented in class.
- Demonstrate significant improvement in overall physical training including increased strength, stamina, flexibility, and endurance.
- Show significant improvement in alignment, placement ,and range of motion through consistent application of feedback and corrections given in class.
- Students will conduct themselves as practicing professionals in the field in preparation for auditions and successful pursuit of careers in the field.
