DANC 3221 - Ballet Technique VI Continuation of 3220. Employment of technical skills through more complex balletic patterns and expanded classical vocabulary. Additional emphasis on performance, phrasing, and dynamics.
Requisites: DANC 3220 Credit Hours: 1.5 Repeat/Retake Information: May be repeated for a maximum of 3.0 hours. Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 studio Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Consistent demonstration of intermediate/advanced ballet skills with emphasis on proper alignment, line, and rhythmic accuracy.
- Consistently apply feedback and corrections given in class to maintain positive progress.
- Demonstrate improved musicality and qualitative nuance in classical and contemporary ballet technique.
