DANC 3211 - Modern Dance Technique VI Continuation of 3210. Refinement of technical skills through more complex movement patterns. Additional emphasis on performance, phrasing, dynamics, and spatial concerns.
Requisites: DANC 3210 Credit Hours: 2 Repeat/Retake Information: May be repeated for a maximum of 4.0 hours. Lecture/Lab Hours: 4.5 studio Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Consistent improvement at this level is required for advancement to the next level of modern dance technique (DANC 4210).
- Students will demonstrate increased strength, stamina, flexibility, and endurance in a broader range of movement styles and dynamics.
- Students will demonstrate professional performance skills and artistry as a result of practice and mastery of movement materials from the course.
- Students will show significant improvement in alignment, placement, and range of motion through consistent application of feedback and class corrections.
