CTCH 2341 - COBOL Programming II

Continuation of CTCH 3400 with emphasis on table handling and file processing.

Requisites: C or better in CTCH 2340
Credit Hours: 3
Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 lecture
Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I
Learning Outcomes:
  • Develop COBOL programs that interact with information stored in a database.
  • Develop and maintain an interface to legacy systems.
  • Develop user screens using CICS.
  • Work with VSAM files.
