REC 4050 - Professional Development Seminar Emphasizes the importance of professional development in the field of recreation and leisure services. Designed to provide students with understanding of their responsibilities in continually developing and maintaining professional competency as practitioners in the field. Also provides students with guidance in developing professional portfolios reflecting their expertise as practitioners in the field, finding internship placements, and navigating the job search.
