JOUR 413 - Gender, Race, and Class in Journalism and Mass Media

This course explores the situation of women and minorities in newspapers, broadcast, online journalism, magazine journalism, PR, and advertising. It looks at issues of diversity on the level of both the production and the consumption of journalistic content, as well as the content itself.
Prerequisites: JOUR 231 & 233 & 24 HRS JOUR & SR

Credit Hours: 4General Education Code: T3
Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken one time excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
