MATH 444 - Introduction to Numerical Analysis

Polynomial interpolation and approximation; numerical integration and differentiation; numerical solution to differential equations; numerical methods for matrix inversion, determination of eigenvalues, and solutions of systems of equations.

Prerequisites: MATH 263D & 340 & C S 210 OR ABOVE
Credit Hours: 4
Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken 4 times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Note: Effective Summer Quarter 2010-11 (June 2011) any non-repeatable course may be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
