HIST 368B - Modern Germany in the 20th Century

Germany on eve of WWI; military fiasco and creation of Weimar Republic; Weimar, Berlin, Munich, and Dresden; attempt to forge democracy; Third Reich and transformation of German society; WWII and Final Solution; Communist Germany and Federal Germany; two societies and two states since 1945.

Prerequisites: SOPH OR JR OR SR
Credit Hours: 4
