HIST 313 - Jews in American History Examines political, economic, and religious interaction between Jews and American society. Includes Sephardic and Ashkenazic immigrants, growth of Reform and Conservative Judaism, Zionism, and modern problems of American Jews. Covers from 1654 to present.
Prerequisites: SOPH OR JR OR SR Credit Hours: 4 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken one time excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Note: Effective Summer Quarter 2010-11 (June 2011) any non-repeatable course may be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
