ART 221 - Introduction to Ceramics I

Three-dimensional form exploration using additive construction processes. Simple Engobe, slips, and clay-body formulations accompany projects.

Prerequisites: ART (112 OR 114) & 113 & 116
Credit Hours: 5
Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken one time excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Note: Effective Summer Quarter 2010-11 (June 2011) any non-repeatable course may be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
