ENG 1700 - Literature and a Life Worth Living In this class, we explore words to live by: how literary texts in multiple genres (including poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and/or drama) can help us learn what it means to have a life worth living. We consider works of literature through literary analysis by thinking about form, historical context, and content, and also think about what we might learn from them as part of a centuries-long conversation about what it means to be a human being in the world.
