SW 4924 - Field Practicum II A second-semester placement experience during which students continue progression toward independently assuming the social work roles of teacher, broker, counselor/clinician, and advocate in generalist practice
Requisites: Social Work Major and (SW 4801, SW 4921, and SW 4923) and concurrent with (SW 4802 and SW 4922) Credit Hours: 6 OHIO BRICKS: Bridge: Learning and Doing Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 12.0 practicum Grades: Eligible Grades: F,CR,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Students will be able to critique theory and knowledge of practice frameworks.
- Students will be able to formulate an individual practice style.
- Students will be able to demonstrate ethical practice.
- Students will be able to demonstrate anti-racist social work practice.
- Students will be able to critique agency culture through an anti-racist practice lens.
- Students will be able to evaluate their learning activities and understanding of competencies through self-evaluation and supervisory feedback.
- Students will be able to communicate appropriately with individuals, families, agencies, and communities.
