MDIA 4405 - Animation Capstone Students build upon their existing knowledge, creative interests, and skillsets to develop and create a semester-long portfolio project. Students create projects that utilize animation, going through all steps of the creative pipeline.
Requisites: MDIA 3500 and (MDIA 4500 or MDIA 4905) and Jr or Sr Credit Hours: 3 OHIO BRICKS: Bridge: Learning and Doing, Capstone: Capstone or Culminating Experience Repeat/Retake Information: May be repeated for a maximum of 6.0 hours. Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 seminar Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Students will be able to apply animation and storytelling techniques into professional level animation deliverables.
- Students will be able to apply successful strategies to work collaboratively.
- Students will be able to apply self-assessment of their own organizational and management skills to meet their project goals.
- Students will be able to develop and present a viable pre-production plan.
- Students will be able to produce creative work within ethical and sustainable media industry practices.
