Ohio Residency Policy

To be classified as an Ohio resident for tuition purposes, a student must meet the guidelines for residency as defined by the State Legislature and the Ohio Department of Higher Education. Ohio residency guidelines for tuition purposes and petition information can be found at ohio.edu/admissions/tuition/ohio-residency.

It is the responsibility of the student to report a change in Ohio residency status to Undergraduate Admissions. Changes from non-resident to resident status are not automatic, and no change of residency can be made until eligibility has been confirmed by the residency officer.
