Certificate Overview: The graduate certificate program is a full-time, 20 credit hour graduate level curriculum. Students enrolled in the performance certificate have the opportunity to take applied lessons on their instrument, participate in chamber music and ensembles, and perform a recital.
Opportunities upon Completion: The Performance Certificate is designed for students who wish to focus on an applied curriculum in order to enhance their performance skills.

Completion Requirements: Students must complete 20 credit hours of approved music courses, including a recital, to complete the certificate.

Admission Requirements: Applicants must have an acceptable baccalaureate degree, although exceptional students with non-music majors may be considered in cases where applicants can document that they have the equivalent in professional performing experience and meet School of Music academic and performance standards.
International Students: This program permits full-time enrollment in residence at Ohio University, and an I-20 may be issued based on admission to this program.
