Department/Unit: Patton College of Education

Delivery Mode: Athens Campus, (ND8921) Hybrid, Technology Facilitator Certification courses are designed in an online/weekend format to bring flexibility and convenience to students while maintaining face-to-face meetings. Most courses meet on weekends three times each semester while the remaining instruction is conducted online, some courses are fully online.

Program Overview:  K-12 teachers already holding a professional teaching license may apply for a multi-age Computer Technology Endorsement which may be added to their teaching license at the completion of approved coursework. This provides the K-12 teacher with an opportunity to move into instruction in the area of computer literacy and computer education in Ohio classrooms.

Opportunities upon Completion: The Technology Facilitator certification serves those wishing to pursue advanced preparation in computer technology to be used in K-12, community college, business or higher education.

Graduation Requirements: Apply for certification upon completion of master’s coursework.
