ENG 6580 - Theories of Writing & Composing Examines theories of how people create and revise texts.

Lecture/Lab Hours: 4.0 seminar Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,CR,PR,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Students will be able to identify connections between theories of composing and pedagogical practices in Rhetoric and Composition, both contemporary and historical.
- Students will be able to articulate, critique, and apply major theories of writing.
- Students will be able to analyze pedagogical practices using major theories of writing and the history of Rhetoric and Composition as interpretive lenses.
