Application of knowledge and skills obtained in the classroom to patient care under the direct supervision of a clinical preceptor. Emphasizes clinical decision-making of the lower extremity and acute general medical conditions.

Learning Outcomes:
 

  • The student will be able to demonstrate proficiency in administrative tasks and documentation using electronic medical records.
  • The student will be able to demonstrate proficiency in completing clinical evaluation of lower extremity injuries.
  • The student will be able to demonstrate proficiency in providing therapeutic intervention and treatment for lower extremity pathologies.
  • The student will be able to demonstrate proficiency in assessment and management of acute general medical conditions.
