Develops skills for executing research and scientific writing through a capstone project on athletic training.

Requisites: AT 5923

Learning Outcomes:
 

  • Students will be able to describe the basic research process and techniques that are applicable to their area of study.
  • Students will be able to describe the basic statistical analyses that are applicable to their area of study.
  • Students will be able to demonstrate the ability to construct a research manuscript ready for publication.
  • Students will be able to apply American Medical Association style policies for reference citation and manuscript formatting.
  • Students will be able to present their research with tools and techniques typical for scientific research presentations.
