ENG 7230 - Topics in British Romanticism Topics in British literature of the Romantic period; introduction of major figures, genres, and issues in the period; introduction to current critical conversations in British Romanticism.
Requisites: Credit Hours: 4 Repeat/Retake Information: May be repeated for a maximum of 8.0 hours. Lecture/Lab Hours: 4.0 seminar Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,CR,PR,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Students will be able to write clearly, persuasively, and in accordance with conventions of formal writing in English Studies.
- Students will be able to produce substantial research projects that incorporate close reading, graduate-level argumentation, and original ideas.
- Students will be able to analyze, synthesize, and evaluate scholarly materials.
- Students will be able to develop original research questions, theses, and bibliographies in British Romantic literature.
- Students will be able to locate and use appropriate research resources of University Libraries and locate potential off-site research resources relevant to their projects.
