PSY 7732 - Child and Adolescent Assessment Survey of theoretical and empirical literature on psychological assessment of children and adolescents; supervised practice in administration, scoring, and interpretation of tests assessing cognitive abilities, achievement, and other domains of performance with children and adolescents; diagnostic interviewing techniques with parents and children; integrative report writing; professional and diversity issues in child and adolescent assessment.

- Demonstrate ability to conduct a psychosocial and diagnostic interview with parents and children.
- Demonstrate ability to write an integrated assessment report, including information from multiple methods and multiple informants.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the empirical literature, psychometric properties, and professional and ethical issues associated with assessment of cognitive skills and academic achievement in children and adolescents.
