PSY 7550 - Motivation Survey of traditional and current theories of motivation. Focus on older learning theories from the classical, operant and observational learning perspectives, and update these with more current thinking on cognitive processes. Integrate older findings with current research on goals. Discuss practical ways to increase motivation in specific areas.

- Design research or analyse existing research in a way that would contribute to the field.
- Evaluate validity and relevance of currently published information in the major psychology journals.
