PSY 7240 - Psychoneuroimmunology


Provides a broad survey of psychosocial research in the psychoneuroimmunology (PNI) literature. PNI is the study of the interactions among behavior, psychosocial factors, and the nervous, endocrine and immune systems.

Learning Outcomes:
  • Create research proposals to address novel research questions in the PNI field.
  • Interpret the human literature in PNI, especially that dealing with psychosocial factors related to stress, hormone and immune processes, and the health outcomes affected by these processes.
