ECT 5110 - Augmented Reality Development This course explores the process of designing, prototyping, testing, and distributing augmented reality applications and tools. This course will focus on creating for multiple AR platforms.
Requisites: Credit Hours: 4 Repeat/Retake Information: May not be retaken. Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 lecture Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Students will be able to design and prototype interactive augmented reality experiences that demonstrate meaningful social impact.
- Students will be able to create a production workflow and execute it in a production setting
- Students will be able to develop augmented reality experiences using mobile technologies and AR headsets
- Students will be able to test and measure the effectiveness of their designs
- Students will be able to identify trends in augmented reality to improve their post-graduation marketability
- Students will be able to assess and improve production workflows for AR projects
