AT 6410 - Evidence-Based Care in Athletic Training II Focuses on an integrative approach to the prevention, evaluation, and treatment of lower extremity, lumbar and sacral spine injuries.

- Students will be able to critique research study designs in order to appraise the validity of integrating current evidence into clinical practice.
- Students will be able to identify valid and reliable clinical outcomes instruments for use in practice.
- Students will be able to implement patient and clinician rated outcomes instruments into clinical practice.
- Students will be able to analyze patient and clinician rated outcomes to inform patient care plans.
- Students will be able to apply the basics of value based healthcare to clinical practice.
- Students will be able to demonstrate appropriate record keeping when documenting patient progress and healthcare value.
