RFM 4910 - Internship: Retail and Fashion Merchandising


This internship course is taken at the same time that on-the-job experience in the fashion industry is being completed. This course includes cooperation with fashion industry, retail and fashion merchandising establishments through communication among the student, the instructor and the workplace supervisor. Students complete assignments specific to the responsibilities they have on the job in order to gain experience and knowledge of the fashion industry. Students enroll in 3 (100), 6 (200), 9 (300), or 12 (400) credit hours, with the minimum number of work hours commensurate as noted in parentheses. Students must be enrolled in the class during the time that they engage in on-site work.

Requisites: (RFPD 2890, 3230 and 3300) and (Jr or Sr)
