REC 3160 - Social Programming and Special Events in Campus Recreation Examines and applies the concepts of social programming and special events as they relate to collegiate recreation programming. Includes identification of social programming and special event trends, collaborative work with other campus organizations, event planning, budgeting and staffing guidelines, program assessment, and evaluation.
Requisites: REC 3100 Credit Hours: 2 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 2.0 lecture Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Identify factors of social programming and special event trends.
