COMS 6240 - Communication in the Family Examination of the communication concepts that are basic to understanding interaction in the family. Provides a framework for analysis of family communication. Explores communication issues that relate to conflict, power, intimacy, and the development of relationships. Presents a model of effective communication in the family. Consideration of verbal and nonverbal communication behaviors.
