CE 5200 - Finite Element Methods in Engineering Background theory, formulation, and application to one- and two-dimensional problems and techniques for analysis. Structures, consolidation, and wave propagation.

- Students will be able to describe the overall approaches involved in finite element analysis.
- Students will be able to formulate and solve beam bending problems.
