MUS 1200 - Exploring Musical Styles Development of listening skills for understanding elements of musical style in historical perspective and significance of music as fine art.

- Students will be able to identify basic elements of musical style in examples of Western music.
- Students will be able to identify some of the major composers’ representative of each style period in Western music.
