HLTH 2020C - Introduction to Health and Lifestyle Choices Provides an overview of health-related topics that are relevant to college-aged students (e.g. safer sex, nutrition, physical activity). Students have the opportunity to critically assess their current health behaviors in an effort to make positive health decisions. This is a designate service learning course.
Requisites: Fr or Soph Credit Hours: 3 General Education Code: 2AS Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 lecture Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Students will demonstrate critical thinking about health concepts in order to make postive health decisions.
- Students will demonstrate how current health information can be applied to their individual lifestyles.
