AT 5922 - AT Practicum 2

Application of knowledge and skills obtained in the classroom to patient care under the direct supervision of a clinical preceptor. Emphasizes clinical decision-making of the lower extremity.

Requisites: AT 5921
Credit Hours: 2

Learning Outcomes:
  • The student will be able to demonstrate proficiency in administrative tasks including administration and documentation including electronic medical records.
  • The student will be able to demonstrate proficiency in completing clinical evaluation of lower extremity injuries.
  • The student will be able to demonstrate proficiency in documentation of clinical evaluation of injury.
  • The student will be able to demonstrate proficiency in providing therapeutic intervention and treatment for lower extremity pathologies.
  • The student will be able to demonstrate proficiency in taping for upper extremity.
