ENG 7770 - Colloquium on the Profession of English

Prepares doctoral students for the profession of college teaching and research in English.

Requisites:
Credit Hours: 1
Repeat/Retake Information: May be repeated for a maximum of 10.0 hours.
Lecture/Lab Hours: 0.5 seminar
Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,CR,PR,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I
Learning Outcomes:
  • Introduce students to professional standards and responsibilities in the field of English studies.
  • Organize biennial graduate student conference.
  • Provide opportunities for discussion with English faculty about, e.g., teaching, editing, and publishing.
