COED 6400 - Coaching Performance Evaluation

Students will be assessed on their coaching technical, tactical, and management abilities. Moreover, the students will learn to self critique their coaching after learning how to use different self-assessment tools.

Requisites:
Credit Hours: 1 - 4
Repeat/Retake Information: May be repeated for a maximum of 4.0 hours.
Lecture/Lab Hours: 2.0 clinical
Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,PR,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I
Learning Outcomes:
  • Demonstrate the ability of coach tactical skills in the coach’s sport of choice with their current athletes.
  • Demonstrate the ability to coach technical skills in the coach’s sport of choice with their current athletes.
  • Reflect and critically self evaluate coaching strengths and weaknesses.
