CE 5410 - Stochastic Hydrology Probability distributions applicable to hydrologic events; analysis of extremes, floods, and droughts; statistical associations between hydrologic variables. Analysis of hydrologic time series. Spectral and parametric formulation of stochastic models of precipitation, runoff, precipitation-runoff transfer.

- Students will learn how to analyze extreme events such as floods and drouts.
- Students will learn probability distributions that are applicable to hydrology.
- Students will understand statistical association between parameters.
