OCOM 8008 - Longitudinal Integrated Clerkship 8
The last in a series of longitudinal courses that guides students towards competence in patient-centered primary care. This course helps learners develop the skills needed to lead in health care delivery science, population health, communications, health care team leadership, health information technology and analytics, as well as, patient-centered medical home practice.
Course Outcomes
- Collaboratively manage and develop caring relationships with a panel of patients.
- Use IT tools to analyze patient and practice data to improve health outcomes.
- Use trans-disciplinary teamwork in the care of patients with a variety of diagnoses, complexities and situations.
- Develop a treatment plan to improve patient outcomes.
