CAS 2411 - Food Matters! Explorations in Food Across the Liberal Arts This course is the foundational course of the curricular theme of Food Studies. Food Studies provides an interdisciplinary approach to the production, consumption and meaning of food. Taught by a team of professors from the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences, Food Matters! Explorations in Food Across the Liberal Arts encourages students to critically examine an aspect of their lives which is, at the same time, deeply personal, public, and political.
