FILM 5750 - Directing
Intends to provide the student with an understanding of the fundamentals of single-camera motion picture directing. Using directing exercises and lectures, the focus will be on script analysis, acting theory and process, rehearsal techniques, camera placement, and mise-en-scene.
Requisites Film major Credit Hours: 1.0-4.0 Repeat/Retake Information: May be repeated for a maximum of 8.0 hours.
Lecture/Lab Hours: 2.0 lecture, 2.0 laboratory
Eligible grades: A-F,CR,PR,WP,WF,FN,FS,AU,I
