EE 3753 - Introduction to Computer Networks Computer networks with an emphasis on the design and working of Internet, protocol layers, service models, HTTP, FTP, electronic mail, UDP, TCP, congestion control, hierarchical routing, internet protocol (IP), IPv4, IPv6, data link layer, error correction and detection, multiple access protocols, Ethernet, bridges, hubs, wireless link, PPP, ATM, multimedia over IP, and basic security such as encryption, authentication and firewalls.
