OCOM 6035 - Gastrointestinal This five-week course introduces students to the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of gastrointestinal diseases and disorders. These concepts are derived from the study of clinical medicine, anatomy, microanatomy, embryology, physiology, pharmacology, microbiology, immunology, biochemistry, nutrition, pathology and public health as they relate to the gastrointestinal system, in order to engage students in the use of the above concepts as a scientific basis for medical decision-making.
