OCOM 896 - Palliative Care(1 week)
This experiential course expands students’ knowledge base regarding pain and palliative care. Those dealing with life-threatening illnesses often require complex, interdisciplinary care to maximize their quality of life. This course exposes students to the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of those near the end of life in multiple venues, such as the hospital, office, home and/or residential care setting.
