CAS 112 - Tradition and Inquiry in the Medieval and Renaissance Worlds Uses primary sources from literature, religion, philosophy, art, and history to consider the themes of membership and belonging, authority and knowledge, and nature and the cosmos in the period 340-1640 C.E. Weekly lectures on special topics, small discussion groups, and regular writing assignments support students critical exploration of the class topics.
Prerequisites: CAS 111 Credit Hours: 5 General Education Code: 2HL Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken one time excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Note: Effective Summer Quarter 2010-11 (June 2011) any non-repeatable course may be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
