BIOS 415 - Neural Basis of Sensation and Movement Neural mechanisms of sensation (vision, hearing, touch, etc.) and movement control (balance, locomotion, orienting, reaching, etc.). In each class, students hear a lecture and discuss assigned articles from the research literature. A major goal of the course is to train students in critical analysis of primary journal articles. 4 lec.
Prerequisites: C OR BETTER IN BIOS 414 Credit Hours: 4 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken an unlimited number of times, but only last course taken counts. Note: Effective Summer Quarter 2010-11 (June 2011) any non-repeatable course may be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
