BIOS 326 - Laboratory Genetics


Experiments in basic bacterial, yeast, and Drosophila molecular genetics. Experiments include site-directed mutagenesis, yeast 2-hybrid analysis, and transposon mutagenesis in Drosophila. Recombinant DNA techniques designed to familiarize the student with current laboratory procedures in molecular genetics. 6 lab.

Prerequisites: BIOS 325
Credit Hours: 3
