HCCF 476 - Children & Families in Health Care Settings Students will acquire skills in helping children and families cope with the stress of a health care experience, in hospitals and other medical settings. In addition, analysis of stress and coping reactions will be examined, as well as exploration of developmental and psychosocial care of hospitalized children and their families.
Prerequisites: (C OR BETTER HCCF 298 & 371) Credit Hours: 4 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken 4 times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Note: Effective Summer Quarter 2010-11 (June 2011) any non-repeatable course may be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
